The mattress "sits" on two rows of anatomical slats (mattress boards), following the traditional way of bed construction. In addition, the crate with the mattress support boards can be raised (after removing the mattress) with a metal safety mechanism offering a large storage space, which of course occupies the entire space down to the floor.

In the past it was made mainly from silk fibers and in fact with a very special treatment, which required a lot of time and a special loom. Fortunately, today things have changed, and this wonderful fabric is affordable for everyone.

MAINTENANCE:
Use your vacuum cleaner with the soft bristle attachment and gently clean the velvet. If there is a stain, slightly wet a cloth and rub the stain gently, without applying pressure because it will soak even deeper. For tough stains, use a little dishwashing detergent in the same way. The most important thing is to dry the velvet immediately afterwards with a dry towel. In general, it's a good idea to regularly brush anything velvety you have, with a special plush brush, to keep it smooth and soft.
